MINIMASTER Model Builder Competition - LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago
Calling all LEGO fanatics ages 6 to 12! LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago the best Chicago days out for kids is holding a contest to find its first-ever MINIMASTER Model Builder.
Our very own Master Model Builder will take the Apprentice “behind the scenes” and show them building secrets including: the techniques that were used in building MIINILAND, how he uses LEGO Digital Designer, how he creates new models for the model Builder Workshop and how to take a picture and make a LEGO mural.
Entrants must be 6-12 years old.
Each entrant must submit a 90 second video that showcases his/her building expertise and should start with the line:
"My name is (INSERT NAME) and I want to be LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago's MINIMASTER Model Builder."
Videos should answer one or more of the following questions:
A. What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever built out of LEGO?
B. What’s your favorite LEGO brick and why?
C. If selected to be the MINIMASTER Model Builder, what would you like to build with the help of the Master Model Builder?
Only video submissions will be accepted. Videos will be judged exclusively on creativity, building skills and enthusiasm.
The MINIMASTER Model Builder will win:
A year-long apprenticeship with LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago’s Master Model Builders (eight 30-minute sessions over the course of a year)
A LEGO Workshop in your classroom

All you need to do is upload it to YouTube and fill in the form below. Just tell us your name, age, parent's email address, name of your school and the YouTube URL of your video.
Don't want to use our application? Then you can enter by sending your entry by email tominimaster@legolanddiscoverycenter.com and we will upload it for you.
Your video will then go into our gallery and the winner will be chosen from the top five videos by our specialist panel.
